Digestive Health
How our digestion works—and how it makes us feel—has a profound impact on our overall health today and in the future. Many people live with daily discomforts such as gas, bloating, heartburn, or irregular bowel movements and assume these symptoms are “normal.” In reality, digestive imbalances are often a root cause of chronic disease, hormone imbalances, and fatigue. Since 70–80% of the immune system resides in the gut, addressing digestive health is one of the most powerful ways to support long-term wellness.
At our Wheat Ridge clinic, serving Arvada, Denver, and the greater Colorado community, we take a comprehensive and individualized approach to gut health. We look at the whole picture—what goes in, what comes out, and how your unique body interacts with the world—to uncover what’s truly driving your symptoms. Because the gut and the brain are closely connected, we also recognize how stress and mental health influence digestion, and vice versa.

Digestive Health FAQ
Q: How long does it take to feel better?
A: It depends on the condition and response to care. For chronic digestive issues, expect 3–6 months of treatment, typically with visits 1–2 times per month. For acute or mild concerns, improvement is often seen within days to weeks.
Q: How much will this cost? Do you take insurance?
A: All prices are posted on our booking site. We are a pay-per-session clinic, require a credit card on file, and do not bill insurance. Superbills are available for potential reimbursement, and HSA/FSA are accepted. Testing is optional and tailored to your budget, with some labs taking insurance.
Q: Do you work with children who have digestive concerns?
A: Yes! We care for both children and adults with digestive concerns such as constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain, and gas. Children often respond very well to gentle digestive support.
Q: What do you use instead of pharmacological medicine?
A: We use nutrition, herbal medicine, supplements, and physical therapies as needed. Treatments are individualized and can be used safely alongside prescription medications.
Q: Can you get me off my digestive medications?
A: We do not discontinue medications. However, by addressing root causes and implementing holistic strategies, many patients are able to work with their prescribing providers to safely reduce or discontinue medications.
