Perineum Healing Herbs Recipe
Directions for Sitz Bath Use: Scoop approx.. ¾-1 cup of herbs into the reusable muslin bag. Place tea in 6 quarts (about a large crock pot) just boiled water. Allow to steep for 20 min. as tea cools to bath or desired temperature. Give the bag an extra squeeze before removing. Add to shallow basin or tub, add more water if needed to cover area, and relax for 15-20 minutes.

Directions for Cooling Perineum pads: Gather 6-8 chlorine free maxi pads, a spray bottle (16-20oz) (not needed but helpful). Prepare tea as stated above but use 4 Tbsp herbs and 2 cups water. Put cooled tea into the spray bottle (if using) and spray, or pour evenly, onto pads until they are partly saturated but not dripping out. Add Witch hazel now to the pads if desired (You can purchase liquid witch hazel at most grocery stores.) Place in the freezer in large freezer bags until they are needed for post-partum pain relief and healing. *TIP: You can also use this as a perineum spray for fast healing and relief.
**NOTE: External use only!
